I’m cured! Three months on and my Achilles Tendinitis is so much better. I can walk around easily with my kids now and I’m on my way to be able to carry them everywhere again. I can’t wait for the day that I pick them both up, put them on my shoulders and tell them that the fun is back. I know that they’re going to be so excited, but between me and you, I think I might be more excited. I just can’t wait to see the smiles on their faces – it gives me chills.
I can’t overstate the impressiveness of the foot care treatments. In the Cheltenham area, there are many places that I could reinjure my feet, but the foot care treatments helped make sure that I didn’t. I did the foot care exercises every day as directed, and it helped make my feet strong again. I’d say it was magic but it was obviously perfectly curated medical science. God, I love modern medicine.
I feel like I’ve got a new lease on life. It’s crazy how heavily little things can weigh on you. Back in my late twenties, I would’ve laughed at someone saying that having sore feet is debilitating. But now in my early forties, it’s a different story. Things genuinely do hurt as you get older. I wouldn’t recommend getting older, but I guess it’s better than the alternative.
I’m going to take this as a life lesson and make sure that I always get my aches and pains checked out. Whether it’s going to a dentist, doctor, physio or podiatrist near Cheltenham, I’m going to do it. Life’s too short to spend it in pain and not doing anything about it. I want to spend as much quality time with my kids as possible, and getting myself checked out when I need will help me do that.
Signing off now – I’ve got kids to play with!
